Lendal Pro Technologies entered as a ground-level trading-software startup with no established audience, no marketing infrastructure, and no brand presence. It launched an NFT-gated software licensing model in April 2023, after the 2021 NFT speculation cycle had already collapsed.
That put the company in the worst possible environment for what it was selling: mass retail disillusionment, heightened regulatory scrutiny around crypto-adjacent securities, and a customer base that had turned openly skeptical of anything touching NFTs. There was no favorable "before" to build on. Jared joined at inception and built the demand-generation engine from zero.
Jared joined the executive team and operated as one of two architects of the company's marketing, brand, community, and customer-experience functions. The strategic objective was blunt: manufacture market demand for a brand-new product category, NFT-gated trading-software licenses, inside a market that had turned hostile toward NFTs.
He built and ran the full-funnel acquisition operation. He was the sole buyer and creator on paid social, architected the landing pages and lead-generation systems, developed the brand and its personas, led community-building, contributed to website and app UX, and stood up the backend CRM and automation that ran customer relations.
The crowdfund launch, the central demand moment of the engagement, raised 213 ETH, roughly $398,000, in a single event in April 2023. It is verifiable on-chain. The paid engine underneath it generated 1,230 leads at $3.57 each and held cost per lead in the $3 to $4 range across the full run. After the raise, the business moved into software licensing and subscription revenue, with Jared continuing in his executive role through 2024.
The harder result is the one behind the number: a full go-to-market operation stood up from zero, and enough brand credibility and community trust to support a $398K raise in a market that was actively working against it.
The engagement ran under compounding headwinds, and the marketing worked. The company itself did not reach long-term sustainability, owing to software-quality issues and leadership decisions at the CEO level, factors outside Jared's scope of control. The point of the record is not to claim a company was saved. It is to show that demand was manufactured, from zero, in the worst market you could pick for it. That part is on-chain.
He is indispensable. He possesses a wealth of knowledge across several business verticals, and his range has saved us both time and money. Jared is a workhorse. Courteous and respectful, timely and decisive, thoughtful and structured. I can confidently put him in any room with anyone.
